Trade & Customs Experience:
Our CEO, Sawada has extensive experience in international trading business at Metal One Corporation. He also worked as a Professional Consultant at KPMG Trade and Customs team in Japan. In 2020, he established SK Advisory and has since been providing ACP (Attorney for Customs Procedures) Service and consulting services in the field of Trade & Customs.
Technical Assistance as Customs Expert to Other Countries:
Mr. Sawada, as a Customs expert, has been providing technical assistance to Customs and Tax Authorities in various countries across Africa and Asia. This involvement is part of Japanese Governmental projects aimed at enhancing customs and tax administration internationally. Some of his notable contributions include:
- 2023-2024 JICA - Technical Advisor for Customs on Trade Facilitation in East Africa
- 2022 JICA - Customs Expert for capacity development project on South Sudan Customs (HS, Business Planning), Detail Planning Survey for Enhancement of Tax Audit Operations at Tanzania Revenue Authority.
- 2021 JICA - Detailed Planning Survey for Customs Improvement in Southern Africa through OSBP facilitation)
